Charleston Bound!

Cooper River Bridge
It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Bridge run time, that is! I’m writing this from the car on my iPhone (#mobileblogging please excuse the formatting an any typos!) as we make our way to Charleston/Folly Beach. This will be the 6th straight year of the bridge run for the hubs and me. This trip has become a Feltis family tradition and this year there will be about 20 Felti and Corteses running, walking, and spectating!

The first stop on the trip was the new Charlotte 49ers football stadium to select our seats for the team’s inaugural season. Front row!

Another exciting event prior to the run will be this evening finding out whether I’ll have a niece or nephew!!!

Tomorrow we’ll wake up before the sun and make our way 6.2mi from Mt. Pleasant to historic Charleston over the Cooper River Bridge. Can’t wait… I’m feeling like its time for a PR this year and I’d like to beat Oprah’s time of 55:48!

Speaking of PRs, check out some of the other blog pages… I’ve updated the “Races” page with every race I’ve ever run that I can find the results of… You’ll also see some of those “bigger” things I’m planning for this year that I spoke of at the end of the marathon post! I’ve also added some things to the “Inspiration” page!

More to come from Charleston later!
