Hello July!

Wow! That means that my Ironman is NEXT MONTH!!! Yikes! Time really flies by when you are too busy to even realize that it’s passing. Here’s what I’ve been up to/what a typical week looks like for me.

Monday
Short run to the gym after work (~2mi)
BodyPump class
Short run back to the office to get my car

Tuesday
Up early for spin class before work
Short swim after spin, also before work (~2000m)
–OR (alternating weekly with)–
Up early for a long swim before work (3500+m)

Wednesday
Long run after work (12-16mi)

Thursday (the BEST day!)
Rest

Friday
Up early for spin class before work
Short swim after spin, also before work (~2000m)

Saturday
Long Bike (65-100mi)

Sunday
Brick workout (Bike 30-40mi/Run 3-6mi)

In total that means anywhere from around 14-20 hours of exercise each week! So basically, I know what day it is by what workout I’m doing. Including this week, I have 4 more weeks that look like that… then it will be time for the glorious taper!

In other news… I want to give a shout out to my wonderful, ever-supportive husband today on our 3 year wedding anniversary. We’ll celebrate tomorrow by trying a relatively new local farm-to-table restaurant, Spring House (very excited!).
