Weekly Swim Workout #6

Happy Friday (again), ya’ll! (I swear I’ll catch up eventually – I always have so many ideas and so little time) Here’s this week’s WSW! Enjoy! And as Dori says, “Just keep swimmin’!”

Warm-up: Total of 700

  • 200 swim, rest :30
  • 2 x 100 pull, rest :20 after each
  • 150 kick, rest :20
  • 3 x 50 (drill/swim by 25), rest :10 after each

Main set: 2 x 600, total of 1200

  • Steady comfortable effort 600 straight swim, working on good form and breathing
  • Rest 2 minutes and get some fluids
  • Then, do another 600 straight swim, trying to hold the same pace/effort level as you did on #1

Cool down:

  • 100 easy swim
